Welcome to Eighth Grade Social Studies webpage, everybody!  We are nearing the end of a unit on Spanish, Dutch and French exploration of the Americas. 

Course Objective:  The Social Studies 8 course is an examination of American History from the Pre-Columbian Native American cultures to the end of the Reconstruction period.  The class will also pay particular attention to American Geography, as well as, the formation, structure and function of our American government.
