So, besides making good choices for your high school education, it is also time to focus on your career interests and goals. What are you plans for 'life after high school'? What careers are you interested in? What skills will you require to be successful in your career choices? What type of training will you need to be eligible for the jobs that you prefer? Where is the best place for YOU to receive the training you want? Are there organizations on the high school campus that relate to your career interests? Find out an join at least one. Plan to visit schools that interest you to see if they are a 'good fit'. Keep a folder with the results of your careeer and school research so you can build a great post-secondary education plan. You and your parents are encouraged to visit with Ms. Hess in the Career Center to discuss your career plans. Stop by the Career Center for information on college entrance requirements, to learn about paying for school and more. Enjoy your sophomore year, and make the most of the time and resources available to you. Graduation is only two short years away.
