Ongoing Adult Faith Formation:
Lenten Simple Supper
The Catholic Church proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society. Therefore, we are obliged to live in solidarity with our brothers and sisters throughout the world. As a part of our Lenten devotions, our parish is offering a night of reflection on the hungers and needs of the human family.
On Wednesday, February 24th at 6:00 PM in the parish school cafeteria, share a simple supper of soup and bread with your family and other parishioners. Join in prayer and reflection for the poor and the needy in devastated areas throughout the world. If you are able, bring a crockpot of soup (enough to feed about 10) with you.
For more details, please contact Sister Sue or Theresa Haggerty 610-356-5069 or haggerty83@msn.com
Coffee and Prayer for the Lenten Journey
On Thursday, February 25, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, there will be a Lenten retreat morning for women. This will be an opportunity to renew and recommit yourself to your relationship with God who continually leads you on a journey of faith. Come for a few hours of prayer, quiet reflection and sharing. This will take place in Convent so space is limited. For more information or to register call Sister Mary Barrar at 610-356-1613.
Living Lent Again – For the First Time
Is Lent just a time for you to “give up” something rather than a time to grow in your personal relationship with Jesus? Join us for a morning of spiritual reflection, recollection and meditation -- a Lenten mini-retreat with Retreat Director Sister Marie Michele Donnelly, R.S.M., on Saturday,
March 6th, 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM in the parish school. Continental breakfast included. There is no fee, but please register in advance: Mrs. Theresa Haggerty 610-356-5069 or haggerty83@msn.com
