Web Page Guide for Parents

Parents,

I use my webpage to update you on what we are doing in class and items that are needed. You may find the following pages helpful:

Ettinger Express- This is my weekly newsletter. I highly suggest you check this every week. It will be updated every weekend for the upcoming week.

 Puzzles- Fun for the kids

My Homework-  This is your child's daily assignment book.  I record homework assignments here each afternoon and other reminders for the next day.  I suggest you look at this nightly to make sure all homework is coming home with your child in their folder.

Links- Academic games (and fun ones too) to reinforce some of the skills taught in 2nd grade. You will also find many author web sites. There is a link to the school menu here.  It is recommended that you enter any internet site first before your child.

Calendar- Here you will find out about special classes and activities. I suggest you visit this on a regular basis as well.

Email- There is a direct link to my school email. I check my email daily, but please call the school for time sensitive messages and bus/pick up information.

Booklist- Here you will find a list of some of the books we will be reading this year.

Slide Show- During the year, I may be placing photos here of happenings and projects from school.

Message Board- Here is a place to communicate with me or other classmates. Content is approved by me before it posts.

Poll- Sometimes throughout the year I use this as a way to get visitor's opinions on subjects.
