CELEBRATE HISPANIC HERITAGE VISIT MY SPANISH COUNTRY America celebrates the Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th. September 15th was chosen as the starting point for the celebration because it is the anniversary of independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on Sept. 16 and Sept. 18, respectively. Celebrating the Hispanic Heritage, you are going to design a brochure promoting a Spanish-speaking country you have chosen. First you need to do research about the following: location, geography, government, money, natural resources, school, tourist attraction, history and food. You must decorate your brochure with pictures or drawings to coordinate with places and activities that you suggest for tourist. At least three pictures are required. Upon completion, you will present it to the class trying to encourage your classmates to visit your Spanish country. These are the available resources: - Library books.
- Encyclopedias.
- Internet webpage.
