¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Soy la señora Damasiewicz. Welcome to Spanish class! I am Mrs. Damasiewicz. I am very excited to have your child in my class this year. I am a National Board Certified teacher. I have been teaching Spanish in the Mustang school district for 15 years. Spanish in middle school is very basic. In 6th, 7th & 8th grades, the students take Spanish for a 9 weeks. We introduce the students to words, phrases and grammar that they will be working more with in high school Spanish. We usually do all work in class, so your child will not have a lot of homework in this class. However, in order to do their best, your child needs to bring his/her supplies to class everyday. Supplies for Spanish are a folder with paper, pencil or pen, and the Spanish textbook, which I will check out to your child. Having a good attitude is also a great thing to bring to class!
