In world history, we will attempt to take a brief look at the geography, history and economic systems of the world's major countries.

In Texas History, we will cover the history of Texas from the time of Columbus to the days of the cowboy and the

early days of the oil boom.

My American History class will start in colonial times and

end with the Reconstruction Period after the Civil War.  Your  child will also take American History in High School, where they will start their study after the Civil War.     Parents, please be aware that your 8th grader will be taking the new Star Test which has replaced TAKS.

Grading policy:   daily assignments are counted once, Test scores are counted twice.
