About Our Library About Our Library

Library Mission

The Windsor Central School District Libraries are learning centers where students access texts in a range of cutting edge and established format in pursuit of information and understanding of their world. Their deliberate reading and analysis of texts requires curiosity, enthusiasm, tolerance, and persistence so that they can create and share meaningful knowledge.

Circulation Policy

Books can be kept for two weeks. Non-current issues of magazines can be kept for one day. To renew a book or magazine, present it at the circulation desk.

The Decker Memorial Art Collection

This artwork was purchased from a special fund set up to memorialize Jeff Decker, a Windsor student who died in a car accident. Jeff's favorite subject was art. Come see the collection. It is currently comprised of two paintings and a Frederick Remington bronze sculpture reproduction.

Library Users Will:

  • Respect yourself, others and all property
  • Return books on time
  • Keep our library looking neat
  • Respect other's right to learn
  • Follow "Student Code of Conduct"

The library is a "Gum Free Zone!"

Internet Access Policy

"Internet access from school district computers is reserved solely for educational purposes."
