American Literature

Welcome to American Literature!

This one-year course is a survey of American literature from the beginning of the United States to the present.  This class will trace historical, political, and cultural development of America as reflected in literature.  Emphasis will be placed on developing critical judgment and effective writing skills.  This course will fulfill one of the English credits required for high school graduation.
