Plagiarism

At the bottom of this page, you will find 2 pdf files about plagiarism.

Avoiding Plagiarism (ClassZone.com)

"Plagiarism is the act of using another person's ideas or writing as your own. Typically, when you write a research paper, you use primary and secondary sources to support your original ideas and interpretations. Consulting such sources and using them to help you write your paper is appropriate—as long as you keep a few simple things in mind."

Cite Your Sources

At the bottom of this page, you will find pdf files to help you cite your sources. There are many websites you can use to help you create a bibliography. BibMe and EasyBib are great sites, but you need to register to download or save your bibliography. In school we will be using the new version of Microsoft Word. It has a form to fill in to create the bibliography.

EasyBib
BibMe (has autofill mode)
Citation Machine (cut & paste into document)
