Mrs. Theresa Aldridge I have been a teacher in the Catholic schools system for 25 years. I taught third grade and sixth grade at St. Salome's School until they closed in 1989. I then joined the faculty at St. Ambrose School where I taught fifth grade. I came to Christ the King School in 1992, and have been the sixth grade teacher ever since. I enjoy teaching the older children, because I like the challenge of preparing them for junior high school. So I focus not only on the basic skills, but also on learning to work independently and how to plan their time wisely. I also enjoy teaching the children the importance of doing works of service for their community. We participate in many service projects through our religion curriculum during the year. I have a B.A. in journalism from St. John Fisher College, so it is no secret that Language Arts is my favorite subject. I also have an M.S. in elementary education from Nazareth College, were I also earned my NYS Certification in teaching. Lastly, I earned my NYS supervision/administration certification at the University of Rochester. I enjoy teaching, and I love the Catholic school system. I am a graduate of Catholic schools, and am proud to be part of this school community.
