Welcome to the world of art at St. Ambrose School.  In our world, a piece of art, whether it be a drawing or sculpture is an educational and spiritual experience.  Students have the opportunity to learn about art history, great artists and many basic techniques.   With a program like this, the creative process in each student will enhance self expression as in no other subject.  

I follow the New York State Curriculum for the Art program and I am a member of the New York Art Teacher's Association.

P.S.    Your child's artwork may not always arrive at home because they are often kept in the student's portfolio until later in the school year. Some pictures are on display and some may be used during special school events.  Artwork will eventually be returned.
