Explorers' Club MissionOur Explorers'Club mission is to foster an environment of life long enthusiastic learners: an environment filled with learning experiences that will allow the explorers opportunities to develop the character traits of self-control, obedient spirit, respect for others, and cooperation as they accomplish a spirit of excellence that will lead to a desire to perform their personal best in their daily academics, knowledge, and skills.
About The TeacherMrs. Lacy is a native of Valley, Alabama. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Auburn University School of Business. She has also completed an Initial Certification Program in Early Childhood Education at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment ( Grades 1-12) at Walden University. She is presently pursuing an E.D.S as a Teacher Leader at Mercer University. Mrs. Lacy has thirteen years of experience in the classroom serving in various positions. This is her ninth year nurturing explorers as a classroom teacher. Mrs. Lacy's hobbies are reading, journaling, public speaking, and roller skating.
She is the loving wife of Reverend John R. Lacy and the mother of two wonderful sons, Reuben a student at Auburn University and Jeremy a student at Parkview High School.
