Amy Koloff Teaching is a great passion of mine. This year begins my 12th year of teaching. My first teaching position was as a long term substitution teacher in special education at LaGrange Elementary. I then spent the next 8 years at Crestwood Elementary teaching various grade levels from K-3rd grade. In my tenth year, I began teaching at St. Francis in the 4th grade - only to find out the day before school started that I was pregnant with twin girls. Needless to say, I stayed home the following year to be a full-time mommy. Two years, I worked with Ms. Brigette and the JK 2 days a week and had a great time. Last year, I taught 3rd grade Science beginning in October and loved every minute of it. I graduated from Centre College with a BA and I have a MAT degree from the University of Louisville. Outside of school, I am a mommy of identical twin girls named Caroline and Julia, who are in the 5 day 3's at the preschool and ABSOLUTELY love every minute of it. I have been married for 5 years to Phillip, who is an engineer at GE. In my free time, "ha ha," I like to read and hang out with family either in Louisville or West Virginia.
