Back to Recommendations Audio Microphone Mixer
(Optional, But Highly Recommended)
Also covered in Chapter 5 Training DVD Vol.1

Purpose:
By using an audio microphone mixer, you will be able to easily connect multiple microphones and adjust volume levels on each mic individually.  You also will have ability to mute/unmute all microphones during recording, since mics are normally live at all times within Visual Communicator.  Great for situations where there are more than one newscaster, or you want ability to deactivate and activate all microphones during a show.  The main output of the mixer can feed into the firewire converter box, OR into the "mic in" jack of a firewire camera.  Be sure to also order the correct cable to feed this mixer to either a firewire converter box, or to a firewire camera (depending on which type of camera you are using, explained more in Training DVD Volume 1).

Mixer Recommendation:

Microphone Audio Mixer
Behringer Xenyx 1202
