Our Mission Statement "Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to carry out everything I have commanded you." Saint Aloysius, an elementary school in the Diocese of Philadelphia, strives to fulfill the Lord's words. The purpose of Christian education at Saint Aloysius is to reflect the teachings of the Catholic Church by dedicating itself to the living of the Gospel. As witnesses to Christ, we provide our students with an opportunity to embrace the Lord in an atmosphere of a Christian community. The message of Christ is reflected in classroom instruction and example. In addition, since we believe that all persons are called to be responsible stewards in the world, we challenge our students to participate in community service beyond the academic environment. Thus, our school curriculum and structure are so designed as to facilitate the growth of the total person: spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical. Likewise, our school exists to provide the basic skills necessary to achieve self-worth through spiritual and intellectual development. With Christ as our model, St. Aloysius School accomplishes this challenge through the dedication of a professional staff who work with confidence, knowing the Lord is the focus of all our endeavors.
