Hello and welcome back to a new school year!  Here are a few reminders about grading and policies that I am asked about throughout the year:

1.  My grading scale is as follows:

homework:  20%

quizzes:  35%

tests:  40%

class participation:  5%

2.  ALL tests (not quizzes) may be corrected!  Corrections must be done on separate paper and the entire test must be re-done, not just the incorrect questions.  Most of the time the corrections will count as an extra credit quiz grade, but it is possible that I may allow points to be earned back on the actual test grade. 

3.  I accept late homework, no questions asked, the first and second nine weeks.  Late homework during the third and fourth nine weeks will only be accepted if accompanied by a note from a parent.

Below are the timelines for each of my classes this year.  They are not set in stone, but we will probably stay close to each schedule.  Go to classroom news to view class notes and get updates on upcoming tests and quizzes.
