Grades 3-5 are reading and listening to the Rhode Island Children's Book Award (RICBA)nominees for the 2010 competition. Twenty books published in the last year are selected by a professional committee for being the top children's book in this time frame. If a RI student in grades 3-6 have read or had read to them three or more on the list then they are eligible to vote on the book they think is the best of the twenty. The book receiving the most votes throughout the state wins the RICBA.
