Celebrate With Books
The Captain Isaac Paine School Library will continue our successful program, “Celebrate with Books: Donate a Book to the Library!” The program has greatly enhanced our library book collection.
What a great way to honor your child’s birthday, graduation from Paine School, outstanding achievements in academics or sports, any other recognition, or just as an expression of your love. Many have donated a book in memory of a loved one or favorite pet. The Paine Library needs new books to reflect the current curriculum, to replace outdated titles, or books suffering from much extended use. When you donate a book:
v A custom bookplate is pasted inside the cover stating the child’s name, date and occasion for the donation.
v Your child will have the opportunity to be the first to borrow the book from the library.
v Your donation will be enhancing the book collection for all children to enjoy now and in the years to come.
v Many years from now your child may visit and still find this special keepsake on the library shelves.
I will purchase titles that support the classroom curriculums as well as for recreational reading, both fiction and non-fiction. They will be titles that the Paine Library would like to own and I know that your children would like to read. You can also request a specific title, author, or book subject.
