Spelling for Writing

     Every Monday , your child will bring home a list of spelling words to study throughout the week.  The spelling test will be given on Friday.  Most words will follow a common spelling pattern or rule. 
     The list will also include a few important words not following a rule and a challenge word from our curriculum or theme of the week.  Children should study for a few minutes each night.
     Spelling words are repeated from past weeks on a regular basis so...don't throw out past lists.
