Meet Mrs. Susan O'Toole

     This is my 28th year of teaching.  I can't believe it either!  Every year has been my favorite.  I still love coming to Genet Elementary School every day to meet and greet the Little Jaguars.

     I have been married to my husband Michael for 33 years.  We got married in college in October, one of our favorite months.  We have lived in East Greenbush for 27 years.  We have two children, Kylee and Ross, who are now in college.  They both grew up in East Greenbush and graduated from Columbia High School.  We also have two doggies, Willy and Soleil.

     Our family likes to celebrate everything!   We also like to go camping, fishing, snowboarding, bike riding, swimming, horseback riding,skating and traveling just about anywhere.

     I have a Master of Sciences Degree in Education from the College of Saint Rose and a degree in Theatre Arts and English from SUNY .  I love musical theatre, Shakespeare, Irish Playwrights and many operas.  I studied voice, violin, cello and lots and lots and lots of English in college.

     I have always loved school.  I loved team sports like softball and swimming and ensemble activities like orchestra, theatre and dance.  I work very hard to build TEAM SPIRIT in my classroom. 

Great things can happen when you're on a TEAM!
