For Level one, there are several reader programs that I can suggest.  I am listing a set by Blaine Ray that provides easy to learn vocabulary and jump start on speaking like a native.

For the Spanish II - Pre AP class I have listed names and books of some people you might find on the AP Literature or Language exam.  If you plan to take the test - you might consider looking up some of these author's information.  Some of these works have been translated in to English or have been made into movies, television programs or used for cartoons.  Check it out!
