Spanish Class with Mrs. Nelson

Dear Students and parents,
As this year comes to beginning, I want to make sure that you all know what to expect.
I have been teaching here at John Paul II High School for four years. I spent ten years in public education before coming to John Paul. Since coming to John Paul I have taught several levels of Spanish. This year I will teach levels one, two pre-advanced placement and three.
I will be sending my syllabus home on the first day of school. I am aware that each teacher could (and will probably) send home information for you to read. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with policies and procedures for John Paul II High School.
It has been my joy and pleasure to be allowed to share this information with my students over the past thirteen years. I will continue to share with my students. What will we do? We will learn grammar, vocabulary, culture and prayers. There may be times when your student will be asked to learn Catholic prayers. We at John Paul II do respect everyone's choice of religion, but we are a Catholic school and do teach with that in mind.
If there are any questions or concerns at any time, you know where to reach me. E-mail, phone or in person, I will make myself available. I can't wait to meet you all in person. With the Lord's blessings
Mrs. Nelson JPII
