Prince Caspian Book Club

Our book club has almost finished Prince Caspian.  We will meet on May 7 and May 14 to finish discussing the book.  Stay tuned for more information on culminating activities.

Battle of the Bluebonnets

Our annual Battle of the Bluebonnets will be held in the library on Friday, May 16.  Students are working diligently to read all of the Texas Bluebonnet Award nominee books for 2007-2008.  Teams of four students will compete in a Jeopardy style game to see who will be Bluebonnet Champions.

AR Parties

Our final Accelerated Reader parties are scheduled for the week of May 12-17.  Crafts and treats are on the agenda for this final event.  Students must have reached the following goals by Friday, May 9 to attend the parties:

1st Grade                20 points

2nd Grade               25 points

3rd Grade                50 points

4th and 5th Grades   75 points

Last Book Check-Out:  Friday, May 16th

All Books Returned:  Friday, May 23rd
