AP Government AP Government

AP American Government & Politics is a college level course designed to intimately familiarize you with the fundamental and subtle aspects of governmental operations and influences. The class is organized to train you to recognize and identify major elements of our governmental system and also compare and evaluate its impact on your everyday experiences in a detailed and comprehensive way.

The ultimate goal of this course is to provide you with the skills necessary to pass the AP Exam administered in May. Upon achieving a passing score on this exam, virtually all colleges and universities provide credit and permit you to bypass introductory political science courses thus allowing you to pursue your area of interest (and achieve your degree) more quickly.
