 SAVE YOUR RING TABS! SADD is collecting ring tabs to benefit the children of Ronald McDonald House. The next time you drink anything from an aluminum can break off the tab and bring it to us. It is a small way you can help sick children.

We are always looking for new ideas and helping hands. Listen to announcements to find out when the next meeting is if you would like to join SADD. In the meantime, check out SADD online. I am proud of our school and want to see everyone safe and successful. I want everyone to make smart choices, but peer pressure can be overwhelming and lead you down the wrong road. The mission of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is "To provide students with the best prevention and intervention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions". ( www.sadd.org) Check out the "U-Turn" campaign which has been launched by the state. It offers statistics which debunk some of the myths about underage drinking. The national SADD chapter has launched a website and e-newsletter for parents. Go to SADD to sign up. SADD students have expanded their good deeds to the community. Groups went after school to volunteer time at the St. Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen. See me if you would like to volunteer a few hours of your time and reach out to the community. It's an experience you won't forget and has made me even prouder of my kids!
