Biography

I have been teaching at Indian Creek Middle School for the past eight years. I currently teach Seventh Grade Social Studies, Seventh Grade Language Arts, am the head coach for the middle school soccer team, and am the 8th grade boys basketball coach.

I am originally from Arlington Heights, IL and a graduate from Rolling Meadows High School.

My father was a comptroller for Motorola and my mother a speech pathologist for three schools. I have one brother, who is also PE teacher.

I earned my BA degree in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University in 2001 and my teacher certification in Social Sciences in 2003.

I married my wife Tina during the summer of 2007. We enjoy spending time with our family, playing with our dog Pep, watching movies, and traveling to Florida (especially Disney World).

I earned my MS degree in Education with a specialization in Integrating Technology into the Classroom through Walden University during the summer of 2008.

I am also extremely happy to announce that my wife Tina and I had our first child, Emma Ann, on October 21st, 2009 and are enjoying all that she brings us! She is growing up so fast!

Hobbies and Interests

I am a huge Chicago sports fan! I love the Cubbies (even though they have let me down for so many years), da Bears, the Blackhawks, and the Bulls. I'll even watch a Fire game once in while too!
