About the Teacher

I began teaching at Camp Creek in August of 1982.  I received a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and received a BSEd. Degree in Early Childhood Education from UGA.  I am also Gifted Certified.

Keeping you well informed about your child's progress is important.  Each Monday you will receive a weekly newsletter to keep you informed about academic skills and upcoming school activities.  Each Friday you will receive a weekly progress report.  Please review your child's work with him or her at home.  Your parental support at home is vital and greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions or concerns about your child's progress, you may contact me via e-mail, note or phone call.  My e-mail address at school is samille_malloy@gwinnett.k12.ga.us.  However, I usually do not have time to read my e-mails until after school.  I will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss your concerns.  Thank you so much for all that you do to support and encourage your child with his/her learning.

The mission of Mrs. Malloy's Class is to create an enriched school environment that promotes excellence, creativity, independence, and fosters the development of life-long learners.  Students will be empowered to make choices that promote acceptance of self-dicipline, diversity, and a healthy lifestyle.  Students will be motivated to become productive, socially responsible members of our diverse, global society.
