WORLD HISTORY

World History World History



World History (9th Grade)

This course is a chronological study of the history of humankind from Prehistoric Times to the French Revolution (1700's).  The study will include the history of Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas in compliance with New York State's Regents curriculum.

 

Advanced Placement World History

This college level course is a comprehensive survey of World History.  Emphasis is placed on differing views of historians and intrepretation of historical events through selected readings.

 

Assignments

1. Review classnotes DAILY.

2. Study current events from TV, radio, or newspapers --include international, national, and local events in the areas of political, economic, and military.
