This week.....
November 16 - 20, 2009
My regular classes will continue to work in Think Link as well as complete a narrative, 4-Square Writing lesson.
As they advance in Think Link, they will complete the Logic and Literature Unit as well as Elements of a Plot Diagram.
My enriched class will begin their Native American project. They may choose a partner or work alone. Monday they will log on to a website that will give them a list of Native American Tribes to choose from, as well as where to retrieve facts and information necessary to complete their project. The information they gather will be organized in such a way as to create a podcast rather than give an oral report. When it's time to finalize their work, Mrs. Henderson, our CTT, will come to our classroom and teach them how to create their podcast.
Remember this week is American Education Week and several activities have been planned. Tuesday we would like our parents to come and have lunch with their child and I would love to have you come and visit our class.
Monday our Basketball Team travels to Appling Middle.
Wednesday is Club Day!
Thursday we have an away Basketball Game at Bon Lin.
