I have been a part of Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School’s community for seven years as an assistant principal and one year as principal. I walk in the steps of some fine administrators and highly qualified educators. The teachers at Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional are amongst the finest I have ever had the opportunity to know. They are hard-working, caring, and dedicated to their profession and to the students they teach.
This year should be very exciting and rewarding to all of us. Since our move last October we have reviewed our decisions, policies and procedures, consulted with many of the school’s stakeholders, and we feel that we have learned a lot about out school, its mission and its future. Changes have been made, particularly with faculty and support staff, and we look forward to reaping the benefits of these efforts.
With many of the Catholic schools in the state struggling with school enrollment, we consider ourselves fortunate to be enjoying a healthy school population. At the same time we also know that a good reputation has to be maintained and continually improved by providing the best possible education available to meet the demands of today’s society.
Knowing that we can never rest on our successes, and wanting to be the best we can be, we have made a commitment to Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School to continue to learn the best educational practices research and experience can provide, by participating in professional development activities and be continuing to consult with all those who have a genuine interest in our school’s improvement.
With this dedicated mindset and determination to make our school a parent’s choice and a child’s dream, we look forward to a productive, exciting and rewarding school year. May God be with us in our endeavors.
