Congratulations to everyone who participated in the UIL Solo Contest on Saturday, Feb. 20th at Prosper High School! The following students are going to the State UIL Solo Contest held at UT-Austin in May: William--violin; Hannah--violin and piano; Jonathan--viola; Ethan--string bass; Henri--string bass. Well played all !!!
SHS Chamber Orchestra (Varsity 8B) performed at the Region 25 HS Orchestra UIL Concert/Sightreading Contest at Plano East Sr. High School on Wednesday, March 10th. Ms. Avila and Ms. Davis are very proud of the performance on stage, and the sightreading process, from our students! Excellent Ratings for both categories!!! A huge Thank You to the SHS Spirit Committee for the beautiful banner they made for our Orchestra--check it out at the entrance to the Orchestra Hall!
