Kaitlyn Burke is a famous actress tired of living the celebrity life.  So she disguises herself and goes to high school with her firend and meets a boy she really likes.  But her co-star of her TV show end up figuring out her secret and telling the whole school.

3.      Describe the text. Does it flow well? Is it engaging; does it hold your attention? Are the characters (if applicable) interesting?

It is very concentrated.  It focuses well on each individual character.  Yes, it does hold your attention.  The characters are very interesting they each have unique qualities.

4.      What did you especially enjoy about this book? Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I enjoyed hearing about the ways she uses to get close to this boy she likes.  The fact that she know he likes her for her and not her name or money is very interesting to me.

Ren's mother just recently dies from a bunch of books crushing her.  Ren and her father move to a new state.  At Ren's old school she was the most popular, but at this new school she's got some competition - Farrin.  Ren soon finds out that Farrin has been secretly on chat lines talking to an older man.  So Ren soon comes to the conclusion that she thinks its her father.  Ren disguises herself as Farrin and goes to meet this guy and soon finds out it's not her father but....?????

3.      Describe the text. Does it flow well? Is it engaging; does it hold your attention? Are the characters (if applicable) interesting?

It's told in first person by Ren and it does flow very well.  It holds your attention by placing all of these twists and turns.  The characters are very interesting.

4.      What did you especially enjoy about this book? Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I like the mystery part.  I like when you guess who did something and it turns out it is someone completely different.  I would recommend this book to a friend.

Alex Rider's uncle dies in a car accident the police say.  But Alex doesn't believe it.  He soon finds out that his uncle was shot multiple times and also that his uncle was a spy.  Alex takes his uncle's place and tries to finish his uncle's last mission.

3.      Describe the text. Does it flow well? Is it engaging; does it hold your attention? Are the characters (if applicable) interesting?

Yes, it flows well with the story setting.  It held my attention, making me curious what is about to happen next.  The characters are interesting because they are different.

4.      What did you especially enjoy about this book? Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?

I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it to a friend because this book is an adventure book.  I would also recommend reading the whole "Alex Rider" series.
