The Freedom Writers Diary is a book that tells stories that deal with racism, discrimination, poverty, home-abuse and many other things. It teaches you that even though life throws many difficult challenges at you, you can overcome them and become a better person.
3. Describe the text. Does it flow well? Is it engaging; does it hold your attention? Are the characters (if applicable) interesting?
Once you start the book you won't want to put it down. It's very interesting and it teaches you many things about overcoming what you think may never be possible to achieve.
4. What did you especially enjoy about this book? Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?
I enjoyed learning about the Holocaust along with many other things. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend because I think they would enjoy it very much.

Lisel begins with no hopes for the future. She thinks the world is pointless until she receives a precious gift: a book. This opens her mind and she sees the world differently and has hopes and dreams. But you'll have to read the book for the ending.

I couldn't put the book down. Some of the text was hard to understand, but most of it I got. The characters were impecable!

I loved how it was told by death's point of view. I would highly recommend it. It has everything from romance to farewells.

In the beginning Desperaux is born with his eyes open and he has huge ears. As life progresses he finds love with a princess named Pea. The Mouse Council does not approve of this so he gets sent to the dungeon. He escapes and gets the threadmaster's thread and goes on a trip to find the queen. He finds her and saves her life so that she will live.

The text flows very well. It held my attention throughout the book because it was so amazing. Desperaux is very interesting in the ways that he lives life. I just did not find Miggery so interesting.

I would recommend it to a friend because it is a book that you could read any day and enjoy. I liked that it was about a mouse.

17 year old Bella Swan moves to the small humdrum town of Fork to live with her father, Forks Police Chief Charlie Swan. It is at Forks High School though that her life takes a compelling turn when she meets the cryptic Edward Cullen; but will it be for better or worse?
3. Describe the text. Does it flow well? Is it engaging; does it hold your attention? Are the characters (if applicable) interesting?
The text flowed flawlessly and was filled with interesting words, details and phrases. On an engaging scale of 1-10, this book rated a 100. The characters were more than interesting, they were enthralling. Bella, the heroine of the story is a kind, selfless, brave young woman who is not intimidated by Edward even though everyone else is. Edward is the strong, charming, enigmatic, hero with a supernatural secret.
4. What did you especially enjoy about this book? Would you recommend it to a friend? Why or why not?
I enjoyed Stephanie Meyer's writing style. I would recommend this to a friend because it is a flat-out awesome book.
