My passion is literature.  Together we will explore how literature not only expresses what it means to be a human being, but how it is reflected in our culture each and every day.  The allusions to literature are all around you in 21st century movies, headlines, media, comic strips, and many other places.  It is up to you to recognize and understand them.  Only then can you fully comprehend the world in which you live.  I am thrilled that you are along for this journey.
