Race for Education on Nov. 4th!!!!!! Parents can now log on to Power School to view your child's grades for each subject. The address is http://rcdaps.org/public . Religion:We are learning about our church community and how we can be disciples of Jesus. We talked about the seven Sacraments. We are also learning about the different types of prayers. This month we will learn about the lives of some of the saints in preparation for All Saints' Day.
Reading:We are working on developing our decoding and comprehension skills.
Grammar:We are reviewing the four types of sentences.We started to learn about common and proper nouns this week. Math:We are using different strategies to review addition and subtraction. Social Studies:We are learning about the different types of communities. Science:We learned the parts of a plant and what their functions are. Next we will learn about fossils and dinosaurs.
