Welcome Kansas History! The main focus of the seventh grade curriculum is Kansas History from early times to present day. The district social studies curriculum for the eight grade focuses on the following topics of study: Unit One: The Land of Kansas Unit Two: Early People Unit Three: Emigrant Indians Unit Four: Bleeding Kansas Unit Five: Kansas Become a State/ State Government Unit Six: Settlers Unit Seven: Railroads, Cattle, and Agriculture Unit Eight: Reform in Kansas Unit Nine: Progression in the early 1900 Unit Ten: Good Time and Bad Times Unit Eleven: A Modern World Unit twelve: Kansas Today and Tomorrow As the year progresses I'll be posting important class information and announcements on this webpage. Use the links to find weekly assignments for each Unit of Study and websites which will help you better understand our topics.
