American History:

Monday December 1, 2008: Today we went over their vocabulary and their 3-4 notes.  Then as a class we finished reading and discussing the 3-4 notes.  Then I went over the information that will be in the quiz on Wednesday. I also handed back the students crosswords so that students can grade them and return them.

Homework: grade crosswords, NFL #10, and study for quiz on Wednesday

Tuesday December 2, 2008: Today as a class we completed the reading activity for this lesson.  Then I read to the students about the case of Marbury vs. Madison and students highlighted the reading for important information.  Then students began working with a partner to answer questions about the case.

Wednesday December 3, 2008: Today students took their 3-4 quiz.  Then students worked on their homework.

Homework: vocabulary word - secede, reading activity, and 3-5 notes #1 and 2

Monday December 1, 2008: Today as a class we read and took notes over lesson 4-3 about trade and resources.  We talked about some of the information that will be on the quiz on Thursday so students can go ahead and start studying.  We also filled in some of there vocabulary words. Students were given a trade day letter that they need to take home to their parents to have signed and returned by Friday.

Wednesday December 3, 2008: Today students did a review activity to help them prepare for their quiz tomorrow.  We also reviewed a little for their quiz. Some students also had a chance to work on their current events.
