Dear CSE/PPSE Administrators:

     Thank you for your interest in Level II Vocational Assessments.  Referrals and authorizations may be located in the "Forms" section of this website and can only be accessed with the password that was e-mailed to your office recently.  If you are unable to locate this password, please e-mail at shaefer@onboces.org or call me at 1-800-836-7510 ext. 2372. 

     There are many reasons that a student is referred for a Level II Vocational Assessment but some students may not be appropriate for the standardized instruments (McCarron-Dial System) used at O/N BOCES: 

     Students with severe visual impairments should be referred to the Commission for the Blind for Level II vocational evaluation at 847-3516.  Vocational evaluations designed especially for the blind and visually impaired are arranged through the Olmstead Center at 1170 Main Street, 882-1025 www.olmsteadcenter.org.

     Students with severe physical limitations may not be appropriate for the complete MDS evaluation but may still be evaluated using sub-tests of the McCarron-Dial.
