WELCOME TO MUSIC!

One of the best-loved classes in kindergarten is music.  Here, the students have a chance to express themselves through singing, playing, and movement.  Our classes consist of a curriculum that incorporates the three concepts and let's each child explore the expression of thought and feeling in a medium that is fun and comfortable to them.

Once again, it is the themes of the classroom teacher that serve as the building of our classes throughout the year.  Movements and music are based on themes and seasons.  Along with singing, the students learn the importance of rhythm, pitch, melody, and meter.  This is achieved through the playing of instruments, singing and dancing. Music classes are held on either day 5 or 6, depending on your child's homeroom teacher.

At the end of each year, we bring the classes together in the gym for a Spring Concert.  Our concert will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 AM.
