Art Class
Let's get our hands dirty!
WELCOME TO ART! Yes, we will get our hands dirty as we discover the many techniques and fine motor skills associated with art class. We will use many tools, such as scissors, and multiple types of mediums, like clay, sponge paints, 3D designs and more to create many projects that you can proudly display at your home. Our projects are based on the themes used in the kindergarten classrooms. Some are based on seasonal studies. If this is a concern to the beliefs of any of our families, please contact me by e-mail. We have a variety of alternate projects available to those who need them. Art is either on a day 1 or 2, depending on your child's homeroom teacher.
Don't Forget! Since we do much painting and gluing, your child is bound to get dirty. Please make sure you send in a paint shirt for your child to wear during art class. An old slip-over t-shirt works best. Please be sure to label the shirt with your child's name!
