Chorus Concert Information:

In Chorus this year, the students will spend time preparing for two scheduled concerts and assemblies.  They will also learn to read choral music.  The students will study breathing techniques and concert etiquette.  Sixth grade students will be going to Dorney Park in the spring to a Music in the Parks competition.

Chorus will have a dress code for concerts and assemblies this year.  Girls are to wear black skirts or gauchos (WELL below the knee), a white top/blouse, nylons or tan/nude tights, and black shoes.  Boys are expected to wear black pants and white shirts with a plain dark tie, black socks and black dress shoes.  Both short and long sleeve shirts are fine. This will help make our look very professional.  If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to contact me.

Our Spring Concert dates are tentatively set for May 12, 2009 at 7:00pm for the Fifth Grade and May 13, 2009 at 7:00pm for the Sixth Grade.  These concerts will be combined with Band performances as well.  Attendance at performances is mandatory.  Children not in attendance for concerts will not be allowed to participate in the Dorney trip.
