About Ms. Sue-updated 8/24/09 About Ms. Sue

I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, which means I have an Associates  Degree, as well as a license,as an OT Assistant. I work under the supervision of an OTR/L.  I provided OT services in the schools in York, PA for 12 years, and finally made my dream move to SW Florida in June 2007.  I beginning my third year at Lamarque, and still love it!  The students are great, and the staff is very supportive.

I also have a BA in English and an Elementary Education certification.  While my children were young, I worked at private preschools and kindergartens.  I have always loved working with children!

My children are now adults, but STILL keep me "hopping".  My son was born with spina bifida, which introduced me to the field of OT.  Having sat on "both sides of the table", as both a parent and professional, helps give me a unique perspective in the school environment.

I love living in Florida!  You'll never hear me complain about the heat (well, maybe once or twice)! I love to swim, and go to the beach for shelling.  This is paradise for me!
