You probably already know that I teach math at Hillgrove High School. You may not know that before I taught here, I taught in a small town in the southeast corner of Georgia, in Camden County (where My Name is Earl is set - it's not quite like it seems on TV), then in Las Vegas (which you've probably heard of). I've been a teacher since the fall of of 2003. I was born in New York state, and, since my dad was in the Air Force, also lived in Nebraska, California, Texas, and Florida when I was growing up. I also spent a lot of time in Massachusetts, since that's where the rest of the family lives. I graduated high school in 1993, then went to Brevard Community College. I graduated from there, and went on to FSU, where I spent 4 years working on my degree in Media Productions. While I was there, I was a proud member of the FSU Flying High Circus for all four years. See?
I graduated FSU in the spring of 1999, then moved to New York City, where I realized I really hated working in Communications. I moved back to Florida and worked several jobs, and decided to enter the family business, teaching. I went back to FSU and got my Master's Degree in Math Education (and spent another year in the Circus). Then on to Georgia, where I spent two years, out to Las Vegas, where I spent 6 years, and then back to Georgia again, which has been a pleasant return.
