About Me

You probably already know that I teach math at Centennial High School.  You may not know that before I taught here, I taught in a small town in the southeast corner of Georgia, in Camden County (where My Name is Earl is set - it's not quite like it seems on TV).  I've been a full time teacher since the fall of of 2003.

I was born in New York state, and, since my dad was in the Air Force, also lived in Nebraska, California, Texas, and Florida when I was growing up.  I also spent a lot of time in Massachusetts, since that's where the rest of the family lives.  I graduated high school in 1993, then went to Brevard Community College.  I graduated from there, and went on to FSU, where I spent 4 years working on my degree in Media Productions.  While I was there, I was a proud member of the FSU Flying High Circus for all four years.

    See?

I graduated FSU in the spring of 1999, then moved to New York City, where I realized I really hated working in Communications.  I moved back to Florida and worked several jobs, and decided to enter the family business, teaching.  I went back to FSU and got my Master's Degree in Math Education (and spent another year in the Circus).  Then on to Georgia, then to here, where I've been happily teaching since the fall of 2005.
