Mrs. Allen's 6th Grade Geography

My name is Sharyl Allen and I have been teaching for 25 years. I am also the tennis coach. I am married to Will Allen. He is a teacher and coach at Mustang High School. I have two daughters. My oldest daughter Allison lives in Tahlequah with her husband Jason. She is a 3rd grade teacher and he is an optometry student. Amy, my youngest daughter, is a senior at the high school. She plays volleyball and tennis. My family enjoys all kinds of sports and being outdoors. In the summer we like to travel to the places we study about in my geography class. In my class, we will study the continents of North and South America, Australia, and Antarctica. Some special projects that we do are pumpkin globes, create your own island, The National Geographic Geography Bee, and chocolate around the world.
