Class Rules

All WHS rules regarding discipline will be followed, including:

1.  Student must be in seat when the tardy bell rings – Report to Attendance for a tardy slip, return promptly with tardy slip.

2.  CELL PHONES ARE NOT PERMITTED..  Phone will be taken up and turned in the office if it goes off during class or if students attempt to use it in any manner.

3.  Cheating is not tolerated and will result in an automatic zero and loss of bonus work (It includes any type of communication between students during quizzes, tests, or copying homework).  If the student has any questions, he needs to raise his hand and wait for teacher to respond).  Parents and sponsors will be informed.

4. Letters or materials that are not part of the Spanish class (such as homework for other class) will be taken up and destroyed.

5.  It is the student responsibility to check for work missed and to make arrangements immediately for make up work.  A zero -0- will be given until work is completed

6.  Teacher’s desk, appliances, cabinets, thermostat, dry-erase boards are “off limits.”

7. It is not permitted to write on desk, walls, maps, posters, or any furniture or school property

8. Raise hand and wait for permission to speak.

9.  Respect other students and their right to learn.  Teasing will not be tolerated.

Consequences for # 6-9, lack of participation, or other repeated misbehavior:

1.  Teacher/Student conference

2.  School Detention

3.  Parent Conference                     

4.  Referral

It is possible to go straight to #4 for disruptive behavior.
