| 1. Absences – It is the student’s responsibility to obtain the work he or she has missed when absent. You will be given one day for every day missed. If a student misses the day before a test, he or she will still have to take the test the next day. Students know one week in advance when the test is and is given a review sheet the day of announcment. So no excuses!!! Also the Test Review that is due on the test days will also still be due.
2. Tardies – You will be tardy if not in the classroom when the bell rings. Tardies will be recorded and handled according to the student handbook.
3. Class Behavior – A. Respect each other. B. Students are expected to get quiet when the teacher is in front of the classroom or when working on assignments. C. Students will do their own work!!! Anyone cheating will receive a zero with no opportunity to make it up. Cheating is not taken likely. D. Students, Do not talk while I’m talking. If you have a question or comment, raise your hand, and wait until I’m finished. Once your called on, the floor will be all yours! E. All material will be brought to class on a daily basis unless otherwise told not to the day before, these material needed for class are the History Book, Pencil/Pen, and History Notebook. I do not loan students pencils or pens. Excessive failures to bring materials to class will result in Detentions. 4. Grades: Daily Assignments & Quizes 100 Points Bellwork & Notbook 50 Points Test 20% of overall grade for 9 weeks 9 Weeks Test: 25% to 35% of overall grade depending on what class (U.S. Hist. or Econ.)
