 dvisory entor rogram The Advisory Mentor Program is a new program set up this year across the High School campus where students have an AMP Period 2 days a week, (Tues. & Thurs.) in which they have been assigned a certain Mentor Teacher which they will have from the time they are Sophmores, all the way through High School. This page is set up so that it provides all the necessary information that my students may use throughout the year in which topics that we have covered in class or information that is vital to their success in the future, they can find right here!! Junior and Senior Testing Information Just over 4 hours for the ACT without the Writing Test, including administration instructions and breaks. Actual testing is 2 hours and 55 minutes, broken down as follows: English: 45 minutes Math: 60 minutes Reading: 35 minutes Science: 35 minutes The ACT Writing Test adds 30 minutes to the testing time. ACT research shows that of the students who took the ACT more than once.
55% increased their composite score on the retest. 22% had no change in their composite score on the retest. 23% decreased their composite score on the retest.

The basic registration fee for the ACT Plus Writing is $46.00. Registration may be completed online at www.actstudent.org or by mail using an ACT registration packet available in the Counseling Office. SAT Reasoning Test The SAT is comprised of 10 total testing sections. The first section is always a 25 minute essay, and the last section is always a 10 minute multilple choice writing section. Sections 2 through 7 are 25 minute sections. Sections 8 and 9 are 20 minute sections. Test-takers sitting next to each other in the same session may have test books with entirely different content orders for sections 2 through 9 (mathematics, critical reading, and writing). Each section of the SAT is scored on a scale of 200-800, with two writing subscores for multiple choice questions and the essay. It is administrated seven times a year in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and U.S. Territories. and six time a year overseas.
