Boston Museum of Science

By: George Garcia

During Spring Break I went to Boston, Massachusetts with my family, it was really cool.  When we were there, we went to the Boston Museum of Science.  It has many sites to see.

Some of the things were, rocks and minerals, light, electricity, technology and computers, the Darwin theory, cells, the human body, sea animals and land animals, and of course BUTTERFLIES!

The butterfly exhibit was awesome.  It didn’t have any Monarchs, but did have almost every butterfly!  They had a big “butterfly greenhouse” that you could walk in.  All the butterflies were fluttering around.

The biggest butterfly we saw was almost as big as my head.  It looked like an owl because it had two big circles on both of its wings.  Its wings were brown, with all different patterns.

The final exhibit we went to was the Darwin exhibit.  It had live turtles, and all other animals that were stuffed.  One animal they had was a black bear cub.  It was almost as big as a classroom desk.

That is all about the Boston Museum of Science!
