English III Research Paper Online Resources. Use the resources below and the links provided on the left.

English III Honors Research Paper

 

Your Controversial Topic:

 

Research Paper Requirements:

Ø      You are required to turn in 60 note cards by Tuessday, April 17th

Ø      You must use at least two print (book) sources.

Ø      You must have a total of 5 sources (internet and book), and they must be used in your paper.

Ø      Your outline must be completed by Tuesday, April 24th

Ø      Your rough draft (electronic version/please do not print in order to save paper) is due by Friday, April 27th

Ø      Your final draft of the paper is due Tuesday, May 1st

Ø      Your paper must include all of the following in this order:

Ø      An outline

Ø      4-5 FULL pages of research

Ø      A Works Cited page. 

Ø      MLA Formatting (Header, Times New Roman, size 12 font, double spacing, 1 inch margins, parenthetical citations)

Ø      If your paper does not meet all of the above requirements, you will fail the research paper.

Print copy must be ready at beginning of class. Don’t send me an e-mail with it or ask to go to Media Center at beginning of class.

 

Your research paper must be completed and submitted to Turnitin.com by 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 30th. You may submit your paper to Turnitin.com before the required due date to check and correct any plagiarism.  However, if your paper is flagged for plagiarism after 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1st, you will receive a failing grade. You must bring a print copy of the paper to class on Tuesday, May 1st. If your printer does not work, please bring quarters to print your paper in the Media Center before school.
