I will be taking up homework on Fridays starting Sept. 2, 2008.  Your child may adjust their work to accommodate changes in schedules.  Homework should be about 10-20 minutes daily plus their 20 minutes of reading for a total of 30-40 minutes daily.  If the homework is taking longer, please let me know.

Your child should read 20 minutes daily or 100 minutes a week.

Your child needs to review spelling/vocabulary 3 times a week to be ready for our test on Fridays.

Your child needs to complete their writing assignments by Friday.  They have time in and out of school to write about the topic of the week. 

Math should be able to be completed in class.  If they do not finish their assignments then, they are to complete it at home.
